"Coyote v. Acme"

     "Coyote v. Acme" is an essay written by Ian Fraizer. He uses sarcasm and satire to indirectly introduce a problem he notices. The purpose of this essay was to criticize the court system of today, without actually stating it. The audience of the essay was the judge and jury of the court that the case was being introduced at. Frazier uses this essay to show that people sometimes do not take responsibility for there wrong actions and blame it on others. In this case, Frazier describes a 60s cartoon character, Coyote, who is suing for the damage ACME products have done. We do know that Coyote was at fault all along because he did not read the instructions before using them. The tone of the essay was very sarcastic and satirical. It was one of the funniest and most entertaining essays we have read until today.
