The article, "Jerry Brown talks gas prices, immigration on "Meet the Press", published in the LA Times by Anthony York talks about his interview on the show "Meet the Press", which shows every Saturday morning. He talked about gas price issues and the inflation in immigration. "With rising gas prices becoming an issue in the presidential campaign, Brown praised Obama's call for higher fuel-efficiency standards for cars and trucks." With the gas prices rising, higher fuel-effiency cars will let the consumers fill up gas in there vehicles less times a month.
Brown's idea on immigration though was quite interesting. He said instead of deporting over two million people over the border, he said he will take actions against actually giving them citizen rights and try his hardest to make them actual citizens. Deporting two million people to him is quite impossible. During this time of recession, gas prices rising, less people will be able to actually afford gas. California in specific needs to take some actions to help out the consumers, if that even requires to go into war with Iran if they are the ones holding us back.
